Welcome to Kiki’s Guide: How to Live Cleaner, Healthier, and With a Longer Health Span

Hi there! 👋 I’m Kiki, and I’m so excited to welcome you to Kiki’s Guide, a community dedicated to helping you live a cleaner and healthier for longer. 🌿✨This space was born out of my own journey toward healing and empowerment. I’ve been navigating the challenges of autoimmune disorders since high school, and over the years, I’ve learned just how important it is to take control of your health and become your own advocate. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been researching and working with a variety of practitioners, including holistic, western, and Ayurvedic experts, to better understand how to support my body and mind. My experiences with autoimmune conditions, including Hashimoto’s disease, have taught me that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s about finding what works for YOU. In addition to my personal journey, I’ve also pursued formal education in this space. I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and earned my certificate in Health Coaching, which has given me the tools to help others take charge of their health.

My Mold Toxicity Journey
One of the most transformative chapters of my wellness journey happened recently. For almost two years, I unknowingly lived in a home with toxic mold. At the time, I had no idea what was happening to my body—I just knew something was very wrong. I was exhausted all the time, taking naps every day just to get through. My brain was in a fog so thick it felt impossible to think clearly. My hair started falling out. And then there were the rashes—bright, inflamed flare-ups on my elbows that felt impossible to soothe. As someone with Hashimoto’s, I initially thought my symptoms might be related to my thyroid, but this felt different—more extreme. When my primary care physician ran tests, my thyroid was completely off. But she believed these symptoms were caused by something more than just my autoimmune condition. She encouraged me to keep searching for answers, so I did. That’s when everything changed. I joined a biohacking group, and the physician I worked with there suggested my symptoms were consistent with environmental toxin poisoning. After testing, it became clear that the toxic mold in my home had been wreaking havoc on my health. I moved and began the process of detoxing and healing.
Why I Created Kiki’s Guide
My experiences with autoimmune disorders and mold toxicity taught me how important it is to be proactive and informed about your health. I realized how much misinformation and confusion exists in the wellness space, and I knew I wanted to create a resource to help others cut through the noise and take control of their health. That’s why I created Kiki’s Guide—to share what I’ve learned about living a cleaner, healthier life and to help others avoid the struggles I went through. Whether it’s reducing toxins in your environment, optimizing your energy with biohacks, or learning how to nourish your body in ways that support long-term health, this space is all about empowering you with tools, tips, and actionable insights you can trust.
