One Year of Kiki’s Guide ✨
A reflection, a thank you, and where we’re going next
One year ago, I quietly pressed publish on something that felt deeply personal and honestly, a little scary.
Kiki’s Guide wasn’t born out of a branding strategy or a business plan. It was born out of a health journey that turned my life upside down, challenged everything I thought I knew, and forced me to become my own advocate in ways I never expected.
If you’re reading this, I want to start with one simple thing.
Thank you.
Thank you for reading, replying, forwarding posts to friends, DMing me your questions, and trusting me with pieces of your own health story. This space exists because of that exchange — not because I have all the answers, but because we’re asking better questions together.

1. Why I Started Kiki’s Guide 🌱
This guide wasn’t created to document what I was learning in real time. Most of what I share here is information I had already been gathering, studying, and quietly holding onto for years.
I reached a point where I was receiving a lot of conflicting information, spending significant time and money across multiple practitioners, and still not feeling better. What became clear was that something was missing, not just clinically, but mentally and emotionally. There was a disconnect between what was happening inside practitioners’ offices and what I was experiencing in my day to day life.
That realization pushed me to educate myself more deeply so I could participate in my own care with clarity instead of confusion.
That path led me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I graduated from the Health Coaching program in 2019. The education helped me understand health as a system. One that includes the body, environment, nervous system, beliefs, and lived experience, not just lab results or protocols.
What surprised me most was how uncommon this integrated understanding still is.
At the same time, I wasn’t ready to be fully public on social media. Writing felt like a quieter, safer place to begin. Kiki’s Guide became a way to organize what I knew, share thoughtfully, and start practicing vulnerability.

2. The Most-Read Articles From Year One 📖
Looking back at what resonated most tells me a lot about what you’re navigating too. These weren’t trend-driven topics. They were foundational ones, the things that quietly influence how we feel over time.
Here are the four most-read articles from the past year, along with the core idea behind each.
The Hidden World of Water: Frequencies, Hydration, and Purity 💧
The main takeaway: hydration is not just about drinking more water. Quality, purity, and mineral balance matter, especially for those dealing with inflammation or chronic symptoms.
Resources readers explored most included water filtration systems and trace mineral drops..
Unmasking Mold 🏠
The main takeaway: mold exposure is far more common than most people realize, and it can quietly interfere with energy, cognition, immune health, and healing.
Readers were especially interested in at-home mold testing options, air purifiers, and non-toxic cleaning products.
Sip Smarter: Biohacking Your Dry January 🍸➡️🫖
The main takeaway: alcohol isn’t neutral for the nervous system or immune system, but removing it doesn’t have to mean deprivation or social isolation.
Popular resources included functional non-alcoholic beverages, adaptogen blends, and tools for making intentional mocktails feel enjoyable.
The Wonders and Challenges of Water 🚿
The main takeaway: municipal water systems are complex and imperfect, and even small, informed upgrades can meaningfully reduce toxic burden.
Readers explored shower filters, whole-home filtration education, and skin-safe personal care alternatives.

3. Who This Guide Is For — and How It’s Evolving 🧭
Kiki’s Guide is for anyone who is looking for thoughtful, grounded resources — whether you’re navigating chronic symptoms, supporting your body through change, or simply trying to make sense of conflicting wellness information.
You don’t need to be sick to care about your health. You don’t need to have it all figured out to ask better questions.
As this guide continues to evolve, my intention is to keep sharing:
• clear, non-alarmist education
• resources that are thoughtfully vetted
• context that helps you understand why something matters before you decide what to do
In 2026, I do plan to be more visible and to reach more people, but the heart of this guide will stay the same. Calm. Curious. Grounded.
